For once in my life, I simply want to be able to say “no”! Why can’t you just be on time? Why can’t I simply relax?
Thinking these statements or saying them out loud – has that ever changed anything?
Probably not. Because it is not just that simple to break up thought patterns we have internalised over many years and to set aside well practiced behavioural patterns.
Successful organisations of today – and the future – need to be self managed (at least in parts), networked, purpose driven and accept the wholeness of their employees. If you pair this with the reality of disruptive change, a shift in the skills and qualities of every single person within the organisation is required. First, we need to be motivated: “I want to change something!”, which is either caused by pain (“It can’t go on like this!”) or inspired by a vision (“That’s how I want to be, that’s what I want to achieve!”). Then, we need to discover “Who am I?” and finally, the third step, is about actually changing something, developing ourselves. This needs time, stamina and practice.
You are more or less on your own in finding the motivation to change. For everything that follows, we digitised over 20 years of experience in 1-1 coaching in our Digital Coach. Our aim is to give all people access to coaching. By this, we strengthen the skill to treat yourself – and others – well.
How do we do it?
Our Digital Coach is a personal companion. It chooses the topics that are relevant for the coachee and adjusts the depth of the discovery and development process to the coachee’s needs and maturity. Two central questions guide the coaching process: “Who am I?” and “Where do I see myself in the future?”
A mix of analytical tools, guided contemplation and peer feedback increases the coachee’s self-awareness. Developing and taking appropriate measures, tracking progress, practicing behavioural change methods and engaging with informational and motivational content support the coachee in their personality development.
